Conceptualized as a visual map of attachment, Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) helps caregivers better connect with children by reflecting on and cultivating a deeper understanding of the attachment needs of children at different phases of development. Spanning 8 weeks, Circle of Security Parenting teaches caregivers how to build stronger relationships with their children through the lens of attachment theory.

The program focuses on helping caregivers identify and understand common behavioral patterns children may exhibit, building a skillset to help provide security and confidence through the caregiver-child relationship. By teaching caregivers to be bigger, stronger, wiser, and kind, COSP promotes an attachment-style based approach that fosters secure attachment relationships that act as protective factors for children as they grow up and learn how to regulate their emotions and stress response systems more effectively.
